Total eclipse of the heart by Bonnie Tyler, SP with lejaguar - Ref:26619018

For your consideration…

I love when a song comes in as the message. Today’s song, “Total Eclipse of the Heart” by Bonnie Tyler is perfect. It is a love song. When we think of love songs we think about relationships. Today we are asked to listen to the song, read the lyrics and think about our relationship with our Spirit…our Guidance.

We hear more and more on the news about people struggling, feeling depressed. We  have had a rough year and a half. Today we are reminded that our Guidance hears us, feels our pain and lonliness, sees our tears….

“Every now and then I get a little bit lonely
And you’re never coming ’round
(Turn around) every now and then I get a little bit tired
Of listening to the sound of my tears
(Turn around) every now and then I get a little bit nervous
That the best of all the years have gone by
(Turn around) every now and then I get a little bit terrified
And then I see the look in your eyes
(Turn around, bright eyes) every now and then I fall apart
(Turn around, bright eyes) every now and then I fall apart
And I need you now tonight
And I need you more than ever
And if you only hold me tight
We’ll be holding on forever
And we’ll only be making it right
‘Cause we’ll never be wrong
Together we can take it to the end of the line
Your love is like a shadow on me all of the time (all of the time)
I don’t know what to do and I’m always in the dark
We’re living in a powder keg and giving off sparks
I really need you tonight
Forever’s gonna start tonight…”
They remind us yet again that we are not alone….turn around…turn within. The greatest love is waiting for us. Our Spirit, our Guidance, is waiting fo rus to partner with them. They want us to have a total eclipse of our heart, change our life, let go and let God.
That is the HOPE. And so it is.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…
-Affirm…“I am loved.”
-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for highest good and the highest good of all?”
-Drink lots of water.
-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.
-Have a total eclipse of our hearts.
What made me smile yesterday…
-Louie so much better.
-Friends, Jul and Vic, brought me lunch and spent the day with me. I feel so much better.
-Vicki sat with Bruce while Julie helped me get Bruce’s truck in for repair.
-And I got a package mailed that has been sitting here for a week until I could leave the house.
-A good book.
Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,
Rev. Chris
