For your consideration…

Our Founding Fathers got it right. They got the bottom line;

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

Could it be any more succinct than that? How long do you think it took them to write and rewrite until they got these words down?

While our Founding Fathers wrote this for our Declaration of Independence, our message today tells us these words are pertinent to the entire world, the Universe. When we read them, few of us would disagree. So why all of the discord?

The discord is because we are not living with the bottom line, the base, the truth in the forefront. Indeed, we let judgment upon judgment layer over the fundamental truth…we are all created equal. We are all here by the grace of our Creator created perfectly for the life that only we can fulfill.

We are all different. We see things differently. We have different points of view. We handle things differently. We tend to judge these differences and let them divide us. That is the way of the ego. The reality…the bottom line is…we can have these differences but choose to let the bottom line…we are all created equal…define how we react.

Imagine a world where we simply respected and accepted every person’s right to freely have their own opinions, views, and actions. Rather than judging them, we sae them as they really are, a perfectly created creation from our Creator…and we treat them as such.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

 

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths. If you can, get your bare feet to Mother Earth.

-See every single person as the perfect Creation that they are and act accordingly despite their own actions.

 

What made me smile yesterday…

-A bright sunny day, albeit cold.

-Lunch with Vic and Jul.

-Hearing from Alex and Dianne.

-A great PT appointment for Bruce with some good suggestions.

-A good book.

-I received a beautiful hat and cowl that my friend, Janet knitted for me…absolutely beautiful.
