“Soul Song” by Sarika Jain

For your consideration…

Me, myself, and I…we are reminded here each day to meditate/pray…be still…go within. Indeed, we had a message this week about the importance of getting still on a regular basis and communicating with our Guidance.

Today’s message is a little different. It tells us that our Guidance knows of our reluctance to do this sometimes. We simply do not want to be alone with ourselves. We don’t like what we feel, some of the thoughts we have, fears we have, self-doubts, we feel inept, etc.

We are reminded that is the ego talking. It always wants to jump in first and have its say. We need to dismiss the ego. Ask it to step outside. Sometimes it helps to go through the physical activity of getting up, ushering it out, and closing the door. It may seem silly but it works.

When we get past the ego and are still with our real self, we realize that we are enough. We are more than capable. We have everything we need to not only handle whatever comes our way but to do it successfully. We have everything we need to grow and thrive. We simply need to get in lock-step with “me, myself, and I” and our Guidance.

Today let’s keep the Maya Angelou quote handy. “I must undertake to love myself and to respect myself and to respect myself as though my very life depends on self-love and self-respect.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Work with our authentic self…me, myself, and I.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A couple of tasks done….watch sizing and a store pickup.

-Jul picked up a couple of things I needed from Costco AND brought them to me. What a great friend.

-A good book.

-Catching up with Alex, Cathy, and Mary.

-My new indoor cameras came and I successfully hooked them up. Now I just have to mount them.

-Alex sent “Louie,” the new puppy we are soon going to get, some treats and chew toys.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
