For your consideration…

They are hard to stop. Thoughts are constantly running through our heads sometimes intentionally, often not. Sometimes we are unaware of them, often not. Sometimes we want them to stop and look for ways to divert them. From this blog you know that I meditate, do mindfulness, or read to stop that monkey brain.

Our message today wants us to consider noticing them remembering that they are either from love or fear.

Our first thought, is “Wait, that can not be true.” But if we stop and think about it, all thoughts are from the ego or authentic self.

If it is from our ego, it is suspicious, judgmental, creating scenarios that may or may not be true etc. Why? Why does it do this? It does this because of fear. It fears of what if? It fears that it is not good enough. It fears that we will not succeed or will make the wrong choice. It tells us want we want to hear, because we feel unprepared for the alternative. On and on and on. That is fear. It is not love.

If it is from our authentic self, it is from love even if it is not a message we want to hear.  Like we heard yesterday, we can be at peace because we know that what if for our highest good has already been put in play. It is waiting for us to receive it. Remember there are two sides to blessings and gifts…giving and receiving. It is just as important to receive as it is to give.

“Train your mind to see the good in everything. Positivity is a choice. The happiness of your life depends on the quality of your thoughts.
