HOPEs and dreams are like the sun and the moon.

Without our HOPE, our dreams remain in the dark…Marinela Reka

For your consideration…

A good example of today’s message is parents and children. We have HOPEs and dreams for them. We provide for them to achieve those goals we have set for them to keep them on course. We project onto them what we want for them. We actually do this for many of our relationships. We want good things for others and we try to provide it or convince them they want it and need to go for it.

Sometimes people go along because they don’t want to disappoint us. Sometimes people just ignore us. Sometimes they outright revolt.

The reality is that no matter how good our intentions and ideas are, we cannot make others accept them. And no matter how good they are, our HOPEs and dreams belong to us. Other people will choose for themselves. HOPEs and dreams belong to the people who own them. They must be accepted by them so that they can manifest them. There is no other way.

We can suggest. We can present and project. We can inspire. But our best of intentions cannot create the fire needed for the HOPEs and dreams of others. For that our role is a supporting one.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Be the inspiration and supporter of HOPEs and dreams.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful sunny day.

-Visiting farmers markets in the morning.

-Laying by the pool during the afternoon.

-Watching Mia play water polo.

-A great dinner show…Todd Herendeen.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
