For your consideration…

Yikes, this message is a good reminder for me today. I literally sat down to write this blog three hours ago. I have had that many hours of interruptions.

Today’s message tells us that we all need a safe place. In particular, our message is about one that we create…much like a vision board. Our safe place is one where we can go to and see, hold, hear things that mean something to us…things that remind us to breathe and calms us.

Above is my spot. It is a small bureau in a little home library. It has evolved and changed over the years. It is my go to place at least once a day if not more times. It has crystals and stones. There is a small water fountain, a white candle, incense burners, sage and lemon grass sticks, and dousing rods. I keep my pendelums hanging on my lamp. I have chimes, my journal and angel oracle cards. I have glass lady bugs, a gift from my sister, sitting in my fountain and on one of my amethysts. Finally I keep a couple of art works I picked up in Poland of the Blessed Mother there as well. All of these things I love and use.

Your “safe spot” will look much different. What is important is that it is a spot where you can instantly connect with what you love and what hold meaning for you. It is a spot where you are reminded to breathe and unwind. We all need this. If we do not have one already, we are asked to create one.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Create your safe space. Spend time in you safe space.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A sunny day.

-A good book.

-Catching up with both my girls.

-Charity came and trimmed all of my trees. Wahoo.

-A class on teachign virtually.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
