For your consideration…

One day this weekend we were tasked with focusing on our dreams. Today’s message wants us to look at and evaluate those thoughts that are constantly reoccurring. What are those thoughts that preoccupy us? What are those thoughts that constantly intrude and take over our brains? Perhaps they even intrude during our meditations or prayers.

Why are we being asked to do this? Why is it important? What is the difference between focusing on dreams versus obsessions? It is important because of the energy that drives them. Our dreams are HOPEful and positive. Obsessive thoughts are most often negative.

We know about energy. We know that like energies attract. Positive attracts positive. Negative attracts negative. So it is important that we notice when negative thoughts…obsessing thoughts…are controlling our brains. We want to turn that around.

We can do that by acknowledging them and then letting them go. Let the Universe handle them for the highest good of all. We can let them go and backfill them with positive thoughts fed by our HOPE and faith.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Keep our thoughts positive.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-Mary and Don came for a visit and dinner.

-Catching up with Alex.

-A good book.

Love, Blessing, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
