70's Far Out 5in Beverage Napkins 16ct

For your consideration…

Today’s message was delivered full of humor…just fun. Every generation has signature phrases. In the sixties we often her “Groovey” or “Far Out.” They were phrases often used in support of some out of the “norm” action or speech.

Our message today encourages us to think “far out” of the box. Where would we bee without Thomas Edison or Benjamin Franklin’s “far out” thinking? How about John F. Kennedy and his putting on a path to the moon. Most of us don’t put together all of the discoveries that we made with the space program.

When I lived in Hawaii or when my friend moved to Texas, my phone bills were hundreds of dollars. My daughter, Alex, just got home from a deployment to Japan. We video chatted a few times a week at no additional cost to my phone bill. I am so grateful for those people who had those “far out” thoughts that make this and all of the inventions that simplify our lives today.

We are asked to let those “far out” thoughts go. Think out of the box and support others who do the same.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Follow the threads of those “far out” thoughts.

What made me smile yesterday….

-A beautiful hot sunny day.

-It was my grandson’s 16th birthday. All he wanted was Gabriel’s subs. Shannon put in an order and I picked them up and took them out. He called home and asked if we could deliver them to the boat. He and his buddies had a great day fishing.

-Relaxing and chatting with family and friends.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
