For your consideration…

I am sure this is an old saying and I know I have at least used it within a blog or two. I am not sure if it has ever been the blog. I love this saying because even though it is probably old, I had never heard it until I taught school. I learned it from my kidos. Teaching and learning is always a two way street.

Of course, the bottom line to this saying is that we need to adapt. Not everything is a major issue. We don’t have to get our way. While we tend to use this saying with children, clearly our message today is for adults. Many of us need to remember this and not let the little things turn into big things. We are asked to remember to be the example. Know when to let things go. Know when to just accept and move on. Know when to adapt. How do we know when we need to make an adjustment? We know when the energy is turning our own negative. If we are harboring or living in a negative space, we know we need to fix that.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths…even if it is from the porch or walking to and from our cars.

-Adapt.

What made me smile yesterday…

-I am loving the aqua aerobics.

-A good book.

-Catching up with Alex and seeing all of her vacation videos and pictures.

-Catching up with Mary and Jackie.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
