For your consideration…

We are given this example so I will share it even though I think some of you reading it may not be familiar with it. When we have nightmares and we desperately want to escape, we are told to turn around. We are told to force ourselves to turn around and confront what is scaring us. When we do this we find out how powerful we are and that we are in charge.

Our message today tells us to do the same thing when we are awake. If we are afraid of something, dread doing something, feel overwhelmed or unqualified, we are told to just take “the bull by the horns” and go for it. Do it. Once again, when we do this we find out how powerful and in charge we are. It is where we gain confidence and self-control.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Take the bull by the horns. The alternative is to let things hang over our heads and make ourselves miserable.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Brunch with Shannon, Alex and Mackenzie at Sava’s. Soo good and soo fun.

-Sunshine and warm temps for December.

-Catching up with Jody.

-An early bedtime and new book.

-The last winter solstice of the decade. Ahhh, now the days will start to get longer.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
