For your consideration…..

I am not sure we have ever had a message on religion versus spirituality. Our message today is very clear. It does not have to be a choice. You can be religious without being spiritual. You can be spiritual without being religious. You can be both. You have a choice. You always have a choice.

Religion tends to come with instructions. That can be very helpful to some in finding their way to their spirituality. It is an outside-in approach. Whereas spirituality is an inside-out approach. Whatever path we choose is perfect for us.

What is vital is that we acknowledge the need to pursue our personal relationship,,,,our authentic self…. with our God, whoever that is to us. Our intention and dedication to this relationship and our life purpose is what is important not the path or tools we choose to use. Each of us will forge our own unique way.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…..

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Celebrate your path.

What made me smile yesterday…..

-An unexpected day off.

-Chilling with my brother.

-We never lost our power during the intense wind event.

-Bruce, Gordie and I went out to dinner with Bob and Mary. I love unexpected plans. They are like little surprise and delights.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
