For your consideration…

I clearly remember we have had at least one if not more messages on this same message. I almost wondered before if our messages had to do with the USA’s election season heating up. But that is not it, at least today’s isn’t. I sat with this message   to make sure I was getting it right. Why are we having it again?

We are told today that dishonesty, lying, cheating whether it is our own or other’s that we proliferate, make our soul be like “swiss cheese.” Know one can take our integrity and honesty from us, we have to give it up.

That is not to say we can not be put in situations, the proverbial “rock and a hard place”. We have all been there. Someone asks us to lie for them. Perhaps, it is not an outright lie but an exaggeration or we lead people in a direction that is not exactly correct.

While we can be put in these tough situations virtually by anyone, my sense today is that this message pertains to the workplace. We may justify misleading or outright lying because it is our “job” and not “our” lie.

Today says not so. If it comes out of our mouth, it is our lie. We are responsible for all our actions and words. Whether they were ours originally or not. They are still ours if we perpetuate them.

As Abraham Lincoln says in the above quote, “I am bound by the light that I have.”, so are we. Protecting that light and sharing it is key to our life purpose. We must not let anyone dilute it. That is the message.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…..

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Getting outdoors and taking in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Protect your light….your honest and integrity.

What made me smile yesterday…..

-Sunshine and warm weather….an unexpected and welcome surprise.

-Kerri and Jeff have their girls home.

-Hearing from both my girls who I was beginning to think were missing.

-Clocks and fire alarm batteries changed at Stillwater.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
