“Every Cloud Has a Silver Lining

For your consideration……

We tend to lean on the mental models we have developed throughout our lives. We look for support from those who love us and we feel we can count on. It is them we search for in “dark times.” We tend to look for solutions in the same places we found them before. Sometimes that works for us and sometimes it doesn’t.

Today we are told that “dark times” are not as dark as we may think. There is always a “silver lining.” In those times, in fact in any situation, dark, happy, eventful, uneventful etc. you just never know where you will find those hidden blessings. We just never know when a random stranger will step into our lives and change it for the better or bring a solution. We just never know when random resources will appear.

We are reminded to always be looking for the silver lining. You just never know what blessings you will find.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…….

-Meditate/pray….ask….”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Every cloud has a silver lining. Look for it.

What made me smile yesterday…….

-Nice and fun students.

-Cakes baked for Burger Night. I love my kitchen aid mixer. Why on earth did I wait until I was this old to buy it?

-Sunshine and warm temps. An absolutely beautiful day.

-Grocery shopping done….in the middle of the week no less.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
