For your consideration……..
Please don’t shoot the messenger. This is a tough message. I struggle with this myself.
Sometimes it seems like surrender is a dirty word. Most certainly that is true in America. This country was built on strife for the freedom of both our physical and spiritual bodies. For many of us, it is like “never surrender” is part of our DNA. And most certainly we live the benefits of it. We and the world have achieved much from our hard won freedom.
However, our message today tells us that there is a time and place for surrender. When we have overwhelming grief, consuming rage, freezing fear or a shattered heart, it is time to surrender. It is time to stand down and ask God, the Archangels, our Guardian Angels, our Guides…..all of the support system God has in place for us….for help. It is time to ask for cleansing, purifying, and loving healing as only they can do.
Everything…..absolutely everything……happens for a reason. Everything is in Divine Timing. When we are broken, it is hard for us to see or believe this. Yet this is exactly when we need to surrender and stand in faith. Whether we can see it right now or not….or perhaps we never will….. it is all good. God’s plan is all good. It is exactly perfect.
That is the HOPE. And so it is.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…..
-Meditate/pray…..ask for guidance.
-Drink lots of water.
-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.
-Focus on gratitude for at least a few moments.
What made me smile yesterday……
-A relaxing morning at Stillwater.
-Thanks, Jackie, for the call on my ride home.
-I finally got my new cell phone synced with my car. It was easy. Why didn’t I do it before?
-Our neighborhood picnic.
