“Native American Spirit” by Crotchmonsoon

For your consideration…..

I love Native American art. So often it depicts a way of life that flows one with nature. And certainly early Native Americans were masters of honoring nature by using it to its fullest with minimum amount of waste.

In today’s message and image we are being asked to consider that all experience has a reason. All experience has a purpose. We are being asked not to get caught up in the “nots” i.e.; not what I wanted, not what I expected, not what I HOPEd for. It’s all necessary. It is all good. We are being asked to try to remember that rather than getting hung up on the perception that we “got something we didn’t want” or “what we lost” etc., be grateful for the experience that has been added to our life. Be grateful for the depth and contrast that are now a part of us.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…….

-Meditate/pray…..feel your inner peace….your authentic self.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Find the “jewel”….the lesson in each experience.

What made me smile yesterday……

-Warm weather.

-Spending the day with my sister and Rod.

-My Alex is “the bomb”. Great flight, Babycakes.

-Listening to my husband’s non-stop chatter with Rod.

-Visiting my brother’s work. It is just beautiful and peaceful.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
