But I Just Want To Know

For your consideration…….

Do you ever say or think, “But I just want to know.” or “If I only knew.”? Do you ever think decisions would be so much easier if you just knew how everything would turn out? If you knew your total life destiny do you think it would be easier to make your life decisions?

I think we all think that. But think about the enormity of it all. Could we really handle all that info? Today we are reminded that if we did it would we would still carry stress, probably more. The enormity of keeping it all straight would be an additional burden. When you consider that, isn’t it great that God is in charge of our agenda and he has assigned a staff to each of us to get us exactly where we need to be at the perfect moment?

Today we are reminded that we are given what we need as we need it. The purpose of our life is firm. It has not changed and it will not change. For every problem we have there is already a solution. Our blessings are already committed to us. They are ours forever.

So why not consider living fully present in the moment? Think of future moments as birthday or Christmas presents. Sure we want to know what is wrapped up and waiting for us. But finding out ahead of time would ruin the surprise and steal away its joy.

Think about it. That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take……

-Meditate. Relax into your calm authentic self. Listen. Trust.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors. Listen to Mother Earth. Smell Mother Earth. Feel Mother Earth. Nurture her. Let her nurture you. Take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Laugh out loud.

What made me smile yesterday…..

-Alex is off to her new adventure and new home.

-A great party at Bob’s.

-Seeing Buddy for the first time in 40+ years.

-Dianne and Gary just happened to be in town and celebrated with us.

-Fun fun fun.
