For your consideration…..

Today we are given a message that initially may seem strange. We are gently being reminded of our roles in life.

In any given situation we are both the teacher and the learner. In every exchange we are taking in and giving out information and energy.

That we are forever learners probably resonates. That we are forever teachers may give us pause. But our half of any exchange, our input, has significance. It counts. It has impact.

We are being asked to bring our best self and be the best teacher we can. And at the say time be an enthusiastic and avid learner. That is the HOPE.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…..

-Meditate. I HOPE many of you are doing this on a daily basis. If you are not meditating, please give yourself a time out each day to be in a few moments of silence.

-Drink lots of water.

-Journal anything that pops into your head. If you try meditating and thoughts just keep popping in, journal them. Journal your dreams. Journal random thoughts. Write a story or poem. Just express yourself.

-Get outdoors and take in those 10 deep breaths.

What made me smile yesterday…..

-I had a great class and a great session with my coaching partner, Gena. We rarely talk 2 days in a row but it was great.

-While the sun hid most of the day, it was wonderfully warm.

-Dude and I had a great walk. I love the moments where I can see his mind remember to “thank me and show me” how happy he is. Just random times during a walk while he is doing his thing, he will pause and come back to me wagging his tail all excited.

-You have got to smile at those moments that are just complete busts. Craving Chinese food I went out to pick it up. Usually both of us go. I drive and Bruce runs in. It is always ready. Bruce and I always laugh at the 10 minutes response time….no matter what you order. Well, I decide I can just go myself. And for the first time ever, it was not ready. On my way home I see deer and slow down for them to pass as does the oncoming traffic. But one of them got spooked and turned back around and ran into the side of my car. Of course, I feel horrible. When I get home, would you believe half of the order was missing? Go back? Not a chance. I can take a hint.

-2 new babies on the way to friends and family. Wahoo.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Chris
