If I Had a Hammer
If I had a hammer
I’d hammer in the morning
I’d hammer in the evening
All over this land
I’d hammer out danger
I’d hammer out a warning
I’d hammer out love between
My brothers and my sisters
All over this land, uh
For your consideration…
We are given our message today via the song, “If I Had a Hammer.” We are told that there is NO “IF.” Repeat, there is NO “IF.”
We do have a hammer. It is our humanity. Each and every good deed, act of kindness, helping hand we give are the nails that repair and build the fabric of good.
That is the HOPE. And so it is.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…
-Affirm…“I am loved.” Say it out loud. Say it whenever you are afraid or unsure.
-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”
-Drink lots of water.
-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.
-Hammer in some nails today.
What made me smile yesterday….
-Sunshine.
-A good book.
-Catching up with Alex.
-Errands run and random acts accomplished around the house.
Love, Blessings and Gratitude,
Rev. Chris
