For your consideration…

Once again we are given a message on focusing our energy but today it is specific to anger.

We all get angry. Some of us can get a mad on and keep it for days. Some of us are like flash fires. We get angry fast and over it fast. Some of us are slow controlled burns where we harbor resentment. We are all different and the situations often dictate our anger.

As you can expect. There is a pro and con…a balance…to anger. It calls our attention to something that needs addressing but it is not meant to become a long-term event.

We are asked today to recognize and honor our anger for what it is and then let it go before it burns us. Treat it like a hot potato. We are asked to turn our focus to our life beyond the anger. Focus on what we want it to look like. I love this Toni Robbins quote:

“Identify your problems, but give your POWER and energy to solutions.”

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Let anger come and let anger go.

What made me smile yesterday…

-It was much warmer than I expected.

-I was just thinking of calling the lawn care people to find out when they were coming back and voila, they just showed up.

-House cleaners came. I love coming home after they have been here.

-Grocery shopping done. It makes me laugh when my husband who never used to care, comes out to see what “goodies” I may have bought.

-Video chatting with Alex and Moose.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris

We love you, Alex
