For your consideration…
It seems like it has not been that long since we have had a message about our filters. Perhaps this is just a bit different.
Our filters are our biases created throughout our life by our life experiences and the life experiences of those people in our lives. The jump to judgment in the Jussie Smollett situation is a great example of this. But it is an extreme example of what our message wants to tell us today.
Certainly we see that the media is bombarding us with stories to try to appeal to or change our biases. Perhaps we are aware of that or not. But what we do know for sure is that marketing is an all out assault on our filters. That is what marketing is all about. There is no escaping it. We can most definitely use it to our advantage or disadvantage. Which is up to us as determined by our awareness.
Our message today tells us that we can save ourselves a lot of time, talent, money and grief if we are aware of our filters and look for the truth. Awareness is the key to seeking the truth and making smart choices.
That is the HOPE. And so it is.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…
-Affirm…“I am loved.”
-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is the next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”
-Drink lots of water.
-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.
-Seek the truth.
What made me smile yesterday…
-Lots of birthday wishes.
-Bruce was able to meet a great cardiologist today and we are moving forward again.
-My girls.
-An early bedtime.
