For your consideration…

I don’t know who wrote the above. I have not seen it before but it is perfect for today. Also, it adds to some of the messages we have been getting lately about our self-worth.

Deferring is not a weakness when we are using our inner power…our authentic power….to do it. Indeed it is a strength because it demonstrates our trust and value in others.

A couple of days ago we were reminded that we have a stake in every moment. We have something to add to it even though we feel the moment belongs to someone else. It is really their moment and our deference supports and strengthens them.

However, (Isn’t there always one?) we are reminded that we carry responsibility and we should not defer or withhold information or help when we know it is needed. Just because someone else is the expert does not mean that they know everything and we are off the hook. Sharing is caring when it comes from our authentic self. Genuine concern and help  is a value add. It strengthens us whether it is accepted or not.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Defer when a situation calls for it.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Funny kids.

-Sunshine even though it is frigid outside.

-Outstanding orders arrived.

-Another teacher looked at his phone and discovered that my normal route home was closed. Sooo happy he just happened to mention it. I rerouted myself and got some errands done on the way home. Win win.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
