For your consideration…

Well ok, you know I love when messages come in via a song. Today’s song seems a little unorthodox but hey, it just is what it is. This song will not get out of my head until the message is written. The song is by Luke Bryant titled “Rain Is A Good Thing.”

(in part) Rain makes corn, corn makes whiskey
Whiskey makes my baby, feel a little frisky
Back roads are boggin’ up, my buddies pile up in my truck
We hunt our hunnies down, we take ’em into town
Start washin’ all our worries down the drain
Rain is a good thing

The point of today’s message is that while we resist change, are afraid of change, don’t welcome change, change is constant and change is a good thing. Without change we would be stagnant and may not grow. Certainly we would not change to the degree we need to to accomplish our life purpose.

Most importantly, today’s message reminds us that change is the stepping stone(s) we need to be the change we want to be. When we let go and embrace change we often discover something better than what we were holding on to. Change is a good thing.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the hgihest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Embrace change.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A chill day home in sweats.

-Catching up with Jackie.

-House cleaners came and did an amazing job as usual.

-A couple good books.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
