Good

For your consideration…

I know I have said this before… perhaps I say it every Good Friday…”Good Friday makes me sad.” Since I was a child, I am always sad on this day. I have always asked myself why we call it “Good” Friday? I have never came up with a for sure answer. Most people think that “Good” meant “Holy.”

Today’s message is about “Good.” We are reminded today that Good always trumps evil. So maybe it isn’t a mistake, misunderstanding or outdated title at all for today. Maybe it is exactly as it says. Today is Good. It is the day where evil lost.

It there still evil and sadness? Of course. However, it can always be trumped. It always will lose in the end. Love, Light, Good and Joy will always prevail in the end.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Affirm…“That love trumps all. It can never be defeated or destroyed.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Pause and give thanks and praise for the Good in Good Friday.

What made me smile yesterday….

-I have loved having this week off.

-Some crafting started.

-I was home by 10:30 having completed grocery shopping, getting gas and working out.

-A good book.
