For your consideration….

Have you ever paid attention to the Kenny Chesney song “Everybody Want to Go to Heaven?”

Everybody wants to go to heaven
Have a mansion high above the clouds
Everybody want to go to heaven
But nobody want to go now

Today’s message is about heaven and how we think about it. Most of us think of heaven as a peaceful, beautiful place where we once again meet up with our loved ones. Perhaps we also think it is a place where we continue to learn, grow and get clarity as we can see the live{s} we have lived with the benefit of a higher level perspective. We just had a message about higher level perspective a day or so ago.

Today’s message is linked to that message. Rather than think of heaven as a far away place, we are asked to consider this analogy. Think about our life as a thin walled bubble surrounded by Heaven. We are floating in its midst. God’s with his angels and our loved ones are surrounding us, supporting us. We are never out of their sight or their care.

At any moment that bubble may burst and we are immediately home with God, the angels and our loved ones. But we are not separated from our loved ones still floating in their bubbles. No, we are surrounding them, watching them, loving them and supporting them.

We are asked to consider the bubble analogy because we tend to think that death separates us. Nothing is further from the truth. We are a part of heaven and heaven is a part of us.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Feel the love and support around us.

What made me smile yesterday….

-An easy morning.

-A great trip.

-Seeing Alex and James.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
