Leigh J. McCloskey

For your consideration…

Today’s message is all about “I.” Do you find that uncomfortable? Do you have a hard time “tooting your own horn?”

We have had messages before that reminded us that we are more than we think we are. We have been told that we were born perfect for our life purpose.

Today we are given a little task. We are asked to get a pen and paper and write it down.

For example:

“I am a _______ who_____________.

We might write. “I am a parent who has worked hard to help her children succeed.”

Or I am a teacher who always wants to instill confidence and HOPE in her students.

Or I am a counselor who____________.

Or I am a wife who _____________.

Or I am a neighbor who ____________.

Or I am a friend who ____________.

Or I am a volunteer who __________.

Or I am a student who ___________.

Or I am a listener who _____________.

Etc. Etc. Etc.

We all where many hats. Sometimes we feel qualified and sometimes we feel like we are in over our heads. But that is not the case. The Divine has put us exactly where we need to be.

We are asked to think about all the many parts of our souls. Honor them. Expand them.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Think about the “I am” and write it down.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A very white Christmas.

-The many gifts of Christmas.

-A very relaxing day.

-Wonderful food shared with family.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
