For your consideration….

How often do we say we are not going to be like our parents? Then, of course, we find ourselves doing the same things. Anyone who knows me, knows that I don’t like whining. Whining is a pet peeve of mine. I know that I got this from my mother. She used to say “Quit, pissing and moaning.” Yikes. I don’t say that but I do find myself saying, “No whining.” Meanwhile, what I want to say is exactly what I say to the little ones, “Use your big boy/girl words and just say what is making you unhappy.”

We all get flustered. We have all probably said things like, “Why me?” “Why isn’t anything going right?” “Seriously, this can not be happening.” etc. etc. etc.

Once again, we are reminded that right now we are in Mercury retrograde which often interrupts our best laid plans. But even when we are not in Mercury retrograde, we can run into obstacles.

Our message today tells us that our focus is on the wrong thing. Rather than “whining,” we should be asking “why?” Why is this happening? What am I supposed to notice? We are reminded of Divine Timing. Maybe our interruption is a blessing. Maybe we are supposed to pull back a little and make sure we are doing the right thing. Maybe there is more and maybe our Guidance has stepped in and done a little redirection.

Rather than focusing on our frustration, we are asked to consider the “Why?”

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Consider, “Why>”

What made me smile yesterday….

-Wonderful middle schoolers.

-A stop at Aldi’s. Once again, I can not believe how much I can get for $45.

-A evening with Anita, Kathy and Dorasy.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
