For your consideration….

The University of Michigan Hospital’s med-flight team has a slogan they use on some of their t-shirts, “the best part of your worse day.” Today’s message is about perspective. So if your life is at immediate risk, that med flight team is indeed the blessing that is the best part of your day. Yet certainly, that is not the blessing most of us are HOPEing and wishing for.

So today we are reminded to be grateful for the mundane. A calm day relaxing at home or doing some tasks, everyday normal things, is indeed a blessing. We have the choice, we always have a choice, embrace good old normal. We can choose boring and normal as the blessing it is intended to be.

That is the HOPE.  And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Choose to appreciate and love the good old normal day.

What made me smile yesterday….

-A chill unrushed morning.

-AJ’s soccer day.

-Visiting with Shannon the other moms.

-An efficient route home allowed me to get all of my shopping done and be prepared for the week.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
