For your consideration…

Each of us receives our messages from God and the Universe different ways. Frankly, they use whatever ways necessary to get out attention. It always amazes me how it all happens and comes together. I especially love how today’s message came through. Let me tell you why. Today is my Mom’s birthday. And I absolutely love the part she played in bringing today’s message through.

Mom was an avid card player. Euchre was one of her favorite games. I was shocked last night to realize my grandkids, AJ and Mackenzie, did not know how to play. Alex and I, with James’ quick strategy mind started teaching them last night. I am sure Mom loves it. During my meditation today, I was reminded of last night and how my Mom played. She reminded me how when the cards weren’t going her way, she would put the “hokey pokey” on them. She did this by taking her index finger and tapping the top of the deck of cards. We used to laugh. But now I realize it wasn’t so far fetched. Now I know that we can indeed focus our energy and direct it.

Most of us have heard the James Redfield quote, “Where Attention goes Energy flows. Where Energy flows Intention flows.” I have quoted it before. se I choose the picture above because my mother loved horses. Look at the picture. You can feel the man’s attention on the horses pain. You can see his intent on healing this pain. You can see where his energy is flowing.

It is the same with all of us. We can focus our attention and make our energy flow wherever we intend it to. Think about this Abraham-Hicks quote;

“If something you want is slow to come to you, it can only be for one reason:

You are spending more time focused upon its absence than you are about its presence.”

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths. Put your bare feet onto Mother Earth.

-Be mindful of your energy and where you want it to go and what you want it to do.

What made me smile yesterday….

-Being with those I love beyond measure.

-A little jaunt into Seattle. It is always good to get a reminder of what it is like in the big cities.

-Euchre with the kids.

-Mac and AJ…..James and Alex…..laugh a lot. Pure joy.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
