For your consideration….

Trash! Our message today is about trash?

Yes. Frequently we are reminded to spend a part of each day focusing on things we are grateful for. And we are reminded it is not all about big things. Indeed, without judgment, all things big and little carry the same weight.

So how does trash come into our message? Every single piece of trash is the remains of a blessing. Whether it is paper, metal, bottles, clothes, food etc., it is the refuse of something that blessed our life. For example, we have food scraps because we were blessed with food. We have bottles because we were blessed with what was in them. We have scraps of wrapping paper from gifts because we got gifts.

So if we find ourselves struggling remembering our blessings, we need go any further than the trash can.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Count our blessings. Spend time each day in gratitude.

What made me smile yesterday…..

-A relaxin day off.

-Hearing from Alex.

-Rearraning all of my cookbooks. Finding a recipe of my mother-in-law’s that I have been searching for.

-Catching up with Jackie.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
