For your consideration….

Consider this…or try this…look at the view outside your window. Then if you have an upstairs, go look at the same view from an upstairs window. You can do the same thing hiking climbing a tree, or even in the mall. The view and perspective are very different from a higher elevation.

Quite literally, when we change our view-point, we change how we see things. Digging a trench looks very different from inside the trench versus outside looking down into it. What seemed like an endless task from inside looks more optimistic from the outside looking down at the progress.

In everyday life we sometimes put ourselves on automatic. We get caught up in the repetitiveness versus living fully in the moment. And sometimes the repetitiveness becomes drudgery. We feel bogged down.

Our message today tells us that we need to practice changing the view both figuratively and literally. We can change our view and viewpoint by elevating ourselves to a higher vantage point. We need both perspectives.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Get different perspectives.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

What made me smile yesterday….

-Sunshine.

-A lazy day doing just a few things.

-Reading a book.

-Going to a great play with my friend, Jul.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
