For your consideration…..

We see accommodations everywhere for people with disabilities. We have a long way to go but we have come a long way in making everyday life more accessible to those with disabilities.

Our message today reminds us that there are many disabilities that we cannot see. Many people are paralyzed inside with fear or self-doubt or self-worth. Many people are scarred on the inside by wounds we cannot see. Just because we cannot see them does not mean they are not there. Just because we cannot see them does not mean they do not need to be addressed and accommodations made.

How do we do this? How do we address disabilities we can not see? We listen. We feel and trust our “gut”….our authentic self. Offer up positive energy, praise and love.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

What made me smile yesterday….

-A good day for a new student who has had a rough start to school.

-Yet another beautiful day. September has been absolutely perfect.

-A great supper, if I do say so myself.

-Our new landscaping has made this summer so nice. I love coming down the street and seeing it looking great……AND… has been easy.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
