For your consideration….

Today’s message is about seeing what is real and acknowledgment versus sticking our head in the sand and choosing to ignore negativity, conflict, ill-will etc. We have a tendency to dismiss or remove ourselves from unpleasantness. It is a normal defense mechanism. But change can not be made when we do that.

We are often told not to judge. How do we not? The answer lies in where we view reality from. When we see from the eyes of our ego, we judge. When we view with the eyes of our authentic self we do not. We simply see the truth for what it is. We see dishonesty, disrespect, hate etc. for the act that it is. We see the intention but do not judge it. We see the acts for what they are. Instead of judging them, we bless and release them sending our positive energy to counter-act them.

Remember, our ego self is fearful, restrictive, judgmental, uncompromising and resistant. Our authentic self is none of these things. It is compassionate, loving, always available and present. It is HOPEful and truthful. It is loving and kind.

I once told Linda Schiller that I tried to surround myself with positive people. She reminded me that I could not do my work if I did that. We need to meet negativity, dishonesty, fear etc. head-on to effect change.

I am also reminded today of communication with our Guidance. Our Guidance does not always tell us what we want to hear. But they always tell us what we need to hear in a non-judgmental loving way.

And that is exactly what we are being asked to do. We are asked to see reality through our authentic self. We are asked to meet it with truth, justice and love without judgment. We are asked to put into effect counter blessings to neutralize negative energy. We have the power.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-See through the eyes of your authentic soul.

What made me smile yesterday…..

-A beautiful morning.

-Laundry done and luggage put away

-Catching up with Jody and Jackie.

-My yard is  full of activity. I love sitting on the couch and just watching.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
