For your consideration….

You know I love when songs, writings, animals etc. show up to deliver our message or at least point us in the right direction. Today, actually a couple of times this week, it has been spiders in the same place where I can not miss them, at the same time and they do not move until I remove them. I have to admit that even though I know they are a good thing, I don’t like them. Note to self….must change attitude because the message they bring is wonderful.

Spiders are unlike other insects because they have 8 legs rather than 6 and a 2 part body rather than 3. When we see spiders we are reminded of several things.

First we infinitely walk between 2 worlds. Ted Andrews writes, ” Spider teaches us to maintain balance between past and future, physical and spiritual, male and female. Spider teaches us that everything you now do is weaving what you will encounter in the future.” Spiders also remind us of our link to Mother Earth and the rhythm of nature.

Spider’s unique web reminds us that each of us is unique and that we have responsibility to weaving our own way to our life purpose. We must be the center of our own world. Only we can weave our web. Ted Andrews also writes, “The ancient mystery schools had one precept inscribed above their portals; “Know Thyself and Thou Shalt Know the Universe!” We weave a web within the web of the Universe.

Finding the spiders by the back door reminds us that we have an opportunity for self-discovery. We can choose to walk through the door or not. We have a choice. We always have a choice. Are we going to stay “caught” in our own web…caught in its illusion. Or are we going to continue growing, learning and incorporating the energy of the Universe? Are we going to stand where we are or explore the cosmic energy of the Universe. We all do it to some extent but we have barely scratched the surface.

Spider reminds us that we can and need to balance ourselves between past and present, present and future, this side of the veil and the other. It is exciting to know that we have so much potential.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Sit or walk in nature until you feel your oneness with it.

What made me smile yesterday…..

-Who knew? Who 3 years flies by. My lease on my car is up and I didn’t even know it. I quickly called my salesman and like magic he had exactly what I wanted with lots of rebates. Thank you to my Angels and Guides.

-My brother is on his way to see me.

-Catching up with Lori and Alex. We are counting the days until we see our Alex.

-I went through the Taco Bell drive through to grab a drink to start my way home from Stillwater. When I went to pay I was told, “It is on us today.” Wahoo, thank you.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
