Anticipation, anticipation
Is makin’ me late
Is keepin’ me waitin’

(Carly Simon)

For your consideration….

Today’s message is about anticipation…specifically anticipation to big and joyful events.

We often hear about the generation of “instant gratification.” Today’s message reminds us of the benefits of anticipation. Wanting and waiting. Waiting and wanting often make the event or gift more special and more appreciated. Doing without makes the doing with a much bigger deal as the contrast is added to it.

Sometimes we realize that the anticipation hype was bigger than the event itself. The anticipation alone is a lesson for us.

What we need to remember is that anticipation are moments of time in our life. Are they coming from the soul or ego? Like every other moment they are precious and need our focus to maximize them.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Drink lots of water.

-Focus on the moment you are in.

What made me smile yesterday….

-Another beautiful fall day.

-Laundry and some house cleaning done.

-Hearing from both girls.

-Some Christmas shopping done.

-My nieces are just about ready to be born.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
