For your consideration…..

Most all of us search throughout our life for the true meaning of it and our soul’s purpose. Just as we are all unique and perfect for our purpose, so too is our search and discovery. Rarely does an individual have all the lights of understanding turned on all at once. By and large it is a process….a journey…..throughout our life.

What is true for everyone is that their soul recognizes truth once their ego steps out-of-the-way. How that truth is presented comes in millions of ways in millions of pieces…bit by bit, piece by piece. Not everyone gets the same bits and pieces. Everyone’s puzzle is different.

We know this. So why is it part of today’s message? It is to remind us that we never know when or where our next bit and piece is going to come from. So we have to stay open and receptive. If we close our minds, ears and hearts we will miss that which we seek.

Does that mean that everything we hear, see or feel speaks to our truth and understanding? No, of course not.  Our soul recognizes truth or untruth. We can take in new bits and pieces that speak to that truth and we can reject those that do not.

Do we need to argue and fight about what is true? No, and if we feel the urge to do so, it is probably our ego talking. What is true and real that resides in our soul needs no defending., It just needs to be lived….to be an example.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Listen and take the step.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

What made me smile yesterday….

-Whew, it was close but my plane eventually landed in time for me to get to school.

-An perfect weather day. Warm without being hot. Perfect sunshine. Cool nights.

-As I’m walking my last students to their bus, I think I have stepped on a burr. Something was picking the pad of my foot and between my toes. As I take off my flip flop, indeed I see something. As I went to remove it, I realize it is a bee. The poor thing got me several times and I am ashamed to say that I worried about myself first and now am left wondering if I hurt the poor thing.

-Talking to Alex and Cathy. It sounds like everyone had a great day.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
