And when I die, and when I’m gone
There’ll be, one child born, in this world
To carry on, to carry on…

“And When I Die”
(originally by Laura Nyro)

For your consideration…..

I recognized the song for our message right away. I only heard it yesterday. Funny it always sounded so up beat but as I read the entire lyrics it really is not. But that is ok, it pauses us to think and it still contains today’s message.

We so often wonder, ask and pray about what our life purpose is. Why am I here, we ask? Today we are given a little tool to help us answer that question. The tool is a question, “What is the one thing I would like to pass on?” Or, “What work would I like to see completed or continued?” Or, “What is the one thing I would like people to remember me for and HOPEfully emulate?”

What we are proud of about ourselves, what we bring to the Oneness today, is a key component to our life purpose. Honor it. Grow it.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Reflect. What am I most proud of?

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-At the end of the day reflect on what you are most grateful for. What was your proudest moment of the day?

What made me smile yesterday…..

-Mac’s text.

-Pics of the girls soooo happy at the One Direction concert.

-A great conversation with Alex.

-Going out for breakfast with Jody. I love going out for breakfast. I miss when I used to do it with Shannon when she lived closer.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
