For your consideration……

I’m a planner. I like to plan. I feel good with a plan. Most of the time that is good but sometimes it can be a deterrent. It is especially deterring when I’m struggling with the plan and just don’t know how to get it done. For instance, I was given an assignment to write a book. I can’t come up with a good plan because I don’t know how to write a book. I have struggled with this for years now. Finally, I am on my way. I’m on my way because I gave up trying to do it on my own and found a coach. I have no idea where this is going but I’m going one step at a time. Hey, you have to start someplace.

That’s our message today. Just start. You may not have the whole plan. You may not know where  you will end up. It doesn’t matter. If you know you need to do something, just start. Maybe it is identifying or fulfilling your life purpose, getting a new job, moving, journaling, meditating, exercising, dieting, saving etc…..whatever it is…..if it is important it probably will not get done in a day but we can start. Maybe one day all you do is make a single decision. Maybe another you make a single phone call or do a search. Just do something. Nothing will ever happen if we don’t start….if we don’t move off dead center.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…..

-Meditate/pray….ask….”What is my next step….even first step….for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and spend as much time as  you can. Take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Know that you “CAN”. You don’t have to know all of the how’s. Just making the decision to accept I can is enough.

What made me smile yesterday……

-Sitting outside and enjoying a beautiful fall day.

-Reading a fun book.

-Playing games.

-An easy ride home.
