For your consideration……

I think that today’s message is perfect as a follow-up to yesterday’s about “pieces” along our life journey, the complexity of each moment and Divine Timing. So…..we are asked why worry? If we can see and accept that, than we should be able to see that most of it is beyond our control.

Why do we worry? We worry because we are afraid. Fear is from our ego. When we find ourselves worrying and afraid, we need to ask our ego to step aside and let our authentic self reassert herself. Our authentic self knows that for every problem we have or potentially may have, a solution has already been worked out by our Guidance.

Go ahead. Let the pessimist ego in you think about all the “bad” things that you think you have been through. Yet here you are. Think about all of the times you have spent worrying for naught because whatever never happened and here you are exactly where you are supposed to be.

Let’s be honest. Most of what we worry about never comes to fruition. All it does is keep us from being the most we can be in this moment. It keeps us from seeing all that is possible in this moment. It keeps us from enjoying all that we have in this moment. I read once that “worry casts a big shadow.” It is so true. Worrying is a complete waste of our time.

When we find ourselves worrying, we are asked to surrender it…..hand it over to our Guidance and simply ask that it be handled for our highest good and the highest good of all.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take……

-Meditate/pray….ask….”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Grab a stone or bead …..anything will do…..carry it with you and every time you start to worry hold it and remind yourself let the worries go.

What made me smile yesterday……

-A productive morning.

-Shannon got the One Direction tickets she needed. Peanut is so excited.

-Alex sounds wonderful.

-Finally, Jody is here. We had a great dinner out at Maiz and a chill rest of the evening in.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
