Change

For your consideration……

It seems like I have had lots of firsts this week with the blog. I may have mentioned before that I meditate for our blog message each day. But I also pull a card from numerous spiritual decks that I have for a personal message that I journal on. Today, for the first time ever, I was told the card was not only for myself but for HOPEs Rising as well. Also a first, I was given a number. It is the number 5.

When we are given the number 5, it is a heads up that we are in or are about to experience change. Depending on where we are in our life we may welcome or dread it. Deep down we know that we are always in change because nothing ever stays the same. So usually when we see the number 5 announcing change it is something bigger and definitely noticeable. The world as we have always known it is changing.

Our Angels are ever-knowing of our feelings. They feel that this announcement may bring us some anxiety. That is why we have been getting some of those tough messages. They have been forcing us to think about our place in the Universe….our life purpose. They have been urging us to “get to our spot….path.”

Maybe, even probably, most of us do not have that all sorted out. Or maybe some of you are like me, you kind of know but have no idea on how to get there. That is where the card I pulled today comes in. The card was from Doreen Virtue’s Archangel Oracle deck. The card was “You Know What to Do”. The message it carries on it is, “Trust your inner knowledge, and act upon it without delay.”

We may not have all of the pieces. We may not know completely what or where our role is but we are being comforted today. It does not matter. All that matters is that we decide to accept our life purpose and work it to the best of our ability. Our Angels are letting us know that they are there. All we have to do is trust ourselves and believe and act upon what we are hearing and feeling. The next step we need will always be given to us. But we must use our free will to act upon it.

Perhaps this is a good day to speak to my own experience as much as a reminder to myself as to the example for the previous paragraph. Many of you have heard it before.

I was just learning to meditate on a daily basis. I had been taking some on-line classes at Angel’s Teach with Rev. Elvia Roe. One day while meditating, I received a message to start a blog. For the very first time I was told who I was speaking with. It was Archangel Metetron. The conversation goes like this;

Archangel Metetron: “You need to start a blog.”

I promptly explain: “I can’t do that for a variety of reasons the first being I didn’t know what a blog is.”

He ignores me and tells me: “Call it HOPEs Rising.”

Me continuing to argue: “I would have no idea how to do this or where to begin.”

He promptly replies: “Blogging for Dummies dah. It needs to be written daily.”

I respond: “I am a terrible writer. I always have a hard time beginning and frankly I don’t want to sound preachy. As much as I love Oprah, sometimes I feel undue influence and resent it.”

Archangel Metetron: “So write the blog in 3 sections…For your consideration….let your readers choose. Then do a section on simple action steps and finally an example of gratitude.”

Me again protesting: “I don’t think I can do this daily. I don’t think I can think of a topic each day.”

Archangel Metetron: “We will not leave you hanging. You will get the daily message. You can do this.”

Ultimately, of course, I agreed. I went and bought Blogging for Dummies that day. Surprisingly enough I got everything set up with just a few minor glitches. Every time I needed something, it would show up. I did not have much money and I needed a logo. An email appears advertising logos, I tell them what I want and for $25 I get three examples. When I chose the final one, I got the logo in every file ending you can imagine. When I was down to just a few snags on the blog page, my friend, Christine, tells me she has a student, Jordan, who is great. Jordan had everything cleaned up and added lots of suggestions…..for $100. He continues to this day, fix any glitch that comes up.

The point I am trying to make is that as right as we know our choices are, we are going to be working out of our comfort zone. But we have to have faith that our Guidance…. God and his realm of Angels, Guides etc. will put our next step in front of us. What we need will be there when we need it. Believe it. Walk the path you are drawn to confidently.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…..

-Meditate/pray…..it is the easiest way to start to hear Divine Guidance.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths. Personally, I am sitting in the sun today. If I have to bundle up to do it, so be it.

-Celebrate being you and your Divine Purpose…..be excited.

What made me smile yesterday……

-I had great students and worked with great teachers.

-Bruce decided to come to Stillwater with me and Dude. School was an early release day so we had no traffic coming through the city.

-The rain stopped right after we got here.

-Catching up with Alex. I am jealous she got her lights fixed. I need an Andrew to fix a couple at the house.
