For your consideration……

The kids are back in school, we are back in our routine, football season is officially here etc. etc. etc. Even though fall is not officially here, for many of us this past week is the change of season for us. We scrambled and prepared for it and “whew” we are through it.

We are reminded today that it is just as important to “take a break” as it is to prepare and conquer. Chill out. If football is your thing, let everything go and watch a game or two or three. If football isn’t your thing, grab a book, a drink and read away. If walking is your thing, drop everything and go for a walk. If you are exhausted, take a nap.

Stop the pace. Relax. Take a break. Breathe.

Sounds good to me!

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…………..

-Meditate/pray….breathe and go to your calm center.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-While your are at it, consider taking your “break” outdoors.

-Laugh out loud.

What made me smile yesterday……

-I started chilling early.

-Alex having fun in Reno on her way to the pool.

-Shannon inviting us over today for dinner. Wahoo. I don’t have to cook again today.

-Fun at Vicki and Klaus’ with Dianne and Gary.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
