For your consideration……
I think I have told this before but I will repeat it because it was the example that was presented to me as I was given today’s message. Many years ago when space exploration was still exciting to almost everyone, I was at a football game for the then Los Angeles Rams. We had men in space. At half time everyone was asked to take out a lighter or matches and light it for our astronauts to see. I had doubts not really believing this was possible. But on cue the lights of the stadium were turned out. And it was magical. I have never forgotten it. I was amazed that the stadium completely lit up from those single lighters and matches.
We each carry a single flame in our soul. It is the center of our authentic self. It is for our use to spark all we do in our life. We are each capable of not only lighting our own way but combining and sharing our flame so that something much bigger can be lit.
When we share our flame, we don’t become less. Indeed, we become bigger and more powerful. It is in the joining and sharing that the magic of life purpose is realized.
Today we are reminded that our little flame has enormous potential….enormous power. Share it generously.
That is the HOPE. And so it is.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take……
-Meditate/pray…….feel the flame in your soul.
-Drink lots of water. Water not only helps keeping our body moving but it also helps with mental and soul clarity.
-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.
-Share….be part of something bigger than yourself.
What made me smile yesterday…….
-Fun students.
-Errands run. The new microwave will be installed Tuesday.
-Lunch with Carol. Spur of the moment is great. synchronicity reminds us of life’s blessings.
-Stories from my sister, Lori, reminded me of how we got to where we are today and how special it is. Thanks to her students are in order as is one to my Father and our Mother.
-A good book.
