For your consideration…….
Today we were given a card called “Eternal Flame”. How appropriate and fitting. As the United States celebrates this day we are reminded of the sacrifices made by so many that we are able to stand in the freedom that keeps that eternal flame alive. As a nation we bicker and differ. But it is our unalienable right to do so bought and paid for by our fellow Americans who believed that freedom is precious and crucial to keeping that eternal flame stoked.
We also remember other loved ones who have passed and whom we miss. We remember the role they played in our own life journey. We pause to give them honor today as well.
Today is a day to pause and remember, honor, give thanks and celebrate. Much has been given that we have this privilege.
That is the HOPE. And so it is.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…….
-Meditate/pray…..feel your freedom.
-Drink lots of water.
-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.
-Play.
-Shake a vets hand.
What made me smile yesterday……
-I am so excited for Cathy to get here and she is too. We act like we are 10.
-I am excited for Paula and her family on their new adventure. It is all good. Wahoo!
-Shopping done.
-Cleaning done.
-Non-stop excitement.
