“Some people come in your life as blessings, others come in our life as lessons.”

For your consideration…..

Today’s message is hard. At least it was for me the first time I was asked to consider it several years ago. So you can imagine I was not too terribly thrilled to receive it today for the blog. None the less, I know better than to try to change or filter it. So I will just deliver it and have you consider it as you will. But I know that may be hard for many and maybe it will have to be considered over a long time.

There are no coincidences. People come into our life for a reason…..even people we would rather didn’t. We are asked today to consider that they too are necessary. They are necessary for us to learn our life lessons. I am sure you have heard the saying, “Well, somebody has to play the bad guy.” It is like the good cop bad cop scenario. Ok, maybe that is not too hard to accept.

Here is the hard part. Consider that we are active participants in planning out this lifetime. Consider that we choose and/or agreed to the lessons we would learn. Consider that those people who are giving us grief or hard times in this life are people we love and whom love us. Consider that they loved us so much, they agreed to take on the really tough role and be the bad guy so we could learn our chosen lessons.

Eliminating judgement and being forgiving are very hard life lessons to master. And today’s lesson goes right to the heart of that.

Just consider today’s message. I can hear the “yeah buts and no ways”. I have been there. I have said them myself many many times. We are simply being introduced to a life lesson and asked to consider it.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

For your consideration……

-Meditate/pray…..mull life over. Find your peace.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths. I can’t wait to do this myself.

-Release grudges and fears to the Universe for the highest healing of all.

What made me smile yesterday……

-A great school day.

-Sun and some warmer weather.

-Exciting news from Alex.

-A fun evening out with friends.

-And then a relaxing evening with Dianne and Gary visiting. What a nice way to end the week.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
