For your consideration……

Most of us are familiar with the phrase, “He(she) wears his heart on his sleeve. Often, in the past, it has been used to describe someone with a weakness or vulnerability. It was like playing poker with a bad poker face.

Like we were reminded yesterday, this is a new dimension. Today we are told that blessed are those who wear their “heart on their sleeve”. Indeed, they are the strength and glue that will put our world back together. Their heart light on their sleeve will light the way.

We are reminded to live our lives with unabashed feelings. Sure, they may get stomped on every now and then. But love from the heart can not be destroyed. It just keeps shining through. Love wins every time. Why not wear it on our sleeve and be the example?

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take……

-Meditate/pray let your inner peace rise up and control  your day.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take at least 10 deep breaths.

-Love who  you are.

What made me smile yesterday……

-My Number 1 daughter. It was her birthday and she was joyous. She is blessed and loved. No Mom could be prouder than I am of her. She is an awesome daughter, mother, wife, friend and nurse.

-My brother picked us up from our cruise. Timing could not have been more perfect.

-A fun day with family….including meeting new nieces and nephews. Wow.

-Alex is excited and joyous ready for her first carrier landing.

P.S. Shannon, I HOPE your birthday continued to be awesome. xoxoxoxoxoxo

P.S. Get well soon, Dan.

P.S. Happy Birthday, Denise.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
