For your consideration…….
I used to love seeing these billboards. They always made me giggle. And I giggled this morning when this one showed up in our message.
I loved these billboards because the simple words carried as much meaning in what they didn’t say as in what they did. They instantly made me feel like a loved child being reminded by a loving teacher parent to “do the right thing.”
And so it is today. Our loving father reminds us of his faith in us and his trust that we will make the right choices. He reminds us to set aside our ego. Deep down we always know what the right thing to do is. It may not always be the easiest so we are tempted to ignore it. But we do know the right choice.
We are reminded that our feelings and the inner knowing of our authentic self tell us the truth and lead us down our right path. We have “billboards” or signs that point us along our way. And we have help 24/7 because we have access to our Guidance should we merely ask. When in doubt, just ask then pause and listen for the answer. Follow where you are led.
Finally, we are being asked to have the faith and trust in ourselves that our Father has in us.
That is the HOPE. And so it is.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take……
-Meditate/pray listen and feel where you are being led.
-Drink lots of water.
-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.
-Journal those “ideas” that suddenly pop into your head. Take them one by one and ask why they were sent to you.
What made me smile yesterday…….
-No alarm clock.
-A beautiful blanket of snow that continued to lightly fall.
-Sunshine.
-Catch ups with both my girls, sister and brother.
-My Peanut is a basketball STAR.
-When in doubt, ask your brother. Gordie is all over help with vacation. Thanks, brother.
