For your consideration…..

The message today is that we have “too many balls in the air.”

Some of us pride ourselves on multi-tasking. It is a way of life. But today we are being told that we are all in a crucial stage of our life. Often we have been told here that we are all being asked to find our life purpose and “get to our places” And this message goes to that same point.

When we have too many balls in the air, we are in perpetual motion. All we are doing is tossing them up. There is no priority or resolution. We are just keeping them in motion. Today we are being asked to look at everything we have in motion. What is the most important? What means the most to us? Grab that. Put the rest of the balls in a basket for now.

We are being asked to put laser like focus on that ball we have chosen. Why did we choose it? Why is it so important? What is the highest outcome we would like for it? We need to feel that. Live it as though it were already true. Be it.

If we are being asked to be our best self and live our life purpose, we have to figure out what that is. We do that step by step, bit by bit, piece by piece and HOPE by HOPE. We do it by focusing on one ball at a time.
That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…..

-Meditate. Find you calm center and authentic self.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Use that handy “T” chart. List all of the “balls you have in the air” on one side. Prioritize them on the other. Look at them. Take the most important ball and put it on a vision board as you want it to be.

What made me smile yesterday……

-A very special class in a very special school.

-Another mild sunny day. How lucky Michigan has been these last few weeks.

-Dinner out.

-The Army Navy wheelchair basketball game at University of Michigan’s Crisler arena. It was great fun in a great facility. Navy won 32 to 27. Go Navy.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
