For your consideration……
Again this morning I was reminded that over the past few days I have been visited by a beautiful, plump cardinal. And sometimes he hangs out on the same tree branch as a wren. On top of the cardinal and wren, we were given a pickle.
What is the message?What does this all mean?
Both cardinals and wrens have large voices. We are reminded today that we have loud and clear voices meant to be used. We all need to be heard. We need to be heard and we need to listen to the voices of others. This is most especially true of the inner voice. Again today we are being reminded to listen to our inner voice and its Guidance.
Cardinals are helpful year round. They remind us that we have a purpose and we matter all of the time. We have a role. We bring color to life and we need color in our own. Work and play are equally important.
Wrens are resourceful. Presented with the cardinal we are reminded to ask ourselves if we are using all of our gifts and resources to make our voices heard.
This is also where the pickle comes into the message. Are we so wrapped up in our problems and worries that we can not recognize our resources and our talent? Are we so wrapped up in our daily grind that we have forgotten to play and sing? Have we forgotten to dream and our capability to make those dreams come true?
We are asked to dig deep, remember and listen to who we are and all we have to offer.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…..
-Meditate. This is where we can dig deep.
-Drink lots of water.
-Take in at least 10 deep breaths outdoors.
-Look at what Mother Earth offers you today. What message does she offer you?
-Journal your dreams.
What made me smile yesterday…….
–Ahhhh 6th grade.
-The Student Teacher I teamed with.
-Sunshine and an unexpectedly mild day. I took my coat but didn’t need it.
-My shining star Shannon.
-Alex gets to go home tomorrow. Yeah.
