For your consideration…..

Every relationship we have hits rough spots. Not only with our significant other but also with our children, friends, people we work with, neighbors etc.

Today we are asked to consider these times opportunities to either grow and strengthen the relationship. Or perhaps it is a time to cut it loose and let it fall away. Neither is right or wrong.

People come into our lives for various reasons. They fill the roles we need to fulfill our life purpose. It is all good even if they are not with us for our entire lifetime.

So how do we know when relationships hit rocky patches which it is, time to grow or time to minimize or sever it?

Look at the “synergy”. Take a step back from this moment or situation that has put us “on the rocks”. Remember and consider the “sum” of the relationship. What has it brought to our life? Am I a better person with this person than without? In the scheme of the synergy as a whole, what does this troublesome moment look like? How big is it really?

We often see this happen naturally when someone dies. Then people come together and differences are bridged. We are encouraged to take the higher road consistently in our life. We are asked to deal with the rocky moments in our relationships in the moment and not let them pass unresolved. That is good for us and it is good for the world.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…..

-Meditate…look for Guidance within.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Drink lots of water.

-Resolve differences.

-Remember what you are grateful for.

What made me smile yesterday……

-Fabulous students that gave my heart a smile.

-Spur of the moment lunch with my friend, Kathy.

-A nap.

-My Peanut was smokin’ in her swim meet. Awesome.

-My Alex may get home sooner than we thought. We can not wait to see her.

-A visit with Yvonne.

-Our ballots are in.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,
