For your consideration……
Today we are given irises. Irises represent faith, hope, wisdom, truth and cherished friendship.
Irises are associated with the Greek Goddess Iris, the goddess credited with putting the rainbow in the sky.
They are given to us today to remind us that if we have women in our lives who are true friends then we are indeed blessed.
True friends serve counsel to us delivering hope, wisdom and truth. They stay faithfully with us through the joy of good times and the sorrow of bad. They are close no matter the physical distance. They hold our secrets and our trust. We feel them in our heart and they feel us in theirs.
In a world that has so much going on, lean on and support the women you count as friends. Nourish each other. Celebrate women. Celebrate their friendship. Celebrate each other.
That is the HOPE. And so it is.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take……
-Meditate/pray….return to the calm of your authentic self.
-Drink lots of water.
-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.
-Call your best friends.
What made me smile yesterday…….
-Seeing a good friend at school today.
-Our Dude is honoring the boundaries of the fence. Wahoo.
-Alex is off to Reno for a fun couple of days.
-A midnight run to the airport with my friend and neighbor, Joan.
