Celebrate
For your consideration……
I love today’s message. I know our messages are always delivered in perfect Divine Timing. But that does not mean we always get the “why now” part. Today is different, it is the weekend and the Olympics have been officially opened. It is a perfect day to be reminded to celebrate life. As sometimes happened the message was delivered with a song.
I Just Want To Celebrate
written by
Dino Fakaris and Nick Zesses
I just want to celebrate another day of livin’
I just want to celebrate another day of life
I put my faith in the people
But the people let me down
So I turned the other way
And I carry on, anyhow
That’s why I’m telling you
I just want to celebrate, yeah, yeah
I just want to celebrate, yeah, yeah
Another day of living,
I just want to celebrate another day of life
Had my hand on the dollar bill
And the dollar bill blew away
But the sun is shining down on me
And it’s here to stay
That’s why I’m telling you
I just want to celebrate, yeah, yeah
Another day of living, yeah
I just want to celebrate another day of living
I just want to celebrate another day of life
Don’t let it all get you down,
Don’t let it turn you around and around
And around and around
Well, I can’t be bothered with sorrow
And I can’t be bothered with hate, no, no
I’m using up my time by feeling fine, every day
That’s why I’m telling you I just want to celebrate
Aw, yeah
I just want to celebrate yeah yeah
Another day of living, yeah yeah
I just want to celebrate another day of livin’, yeah
I just want to celebrate another day of life
Don’t let it all get you down, no, no
Don’t let it turn you around and around,
And around and around, and around
Around round round
’round and around round round round
don’t go ’round
Isn’t it perfect? I just want to celebrate another day of living. Think about it. Almost all of the hundreds of athletes that are at the Olympics know they have a very slim chance at winning a medal. Still they choose to participate to the best of their ability and celebrate the accomplishments they do have, the comradrie, the celebration of the promise of how countries can come together in peace. They celebrate because they still have HOPE for themselves, their country and the world.
So too for us today. We can celebrate. If for no other reason, we are here. We can focus on our problems or disappointments. Or we can look around and marvel at what surrounds us. We can stand in awe at what has been created for us to live in this day. Be an Olympian. Be polite. Don’t turn down the gift. Take it, open it, admire it and enjoy it. This day was delivered with love to you. You were chosen to be a part of it. Participate to the best of your ability and celebrate the day.
That is the HOPE. And so it is.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…….
-Meditate be an active participant with your Guidance.
-Drink lots of water.
-Get outdoors and enjoy you day. Go have fun. Take in at least 10 deep breaths along the way.
-Be joyous. Anticipate joy.
What made me smile yesterday……
-My car windshield was replaced. Yeah, no more crack across the middle of it.
-Lunch with Ginger, Candi, Pat and Marty. How fun! Thank you Candi.
-Alex being joyous.
-Watching the Olympics Opening Ceremony.
-A cool night. Perfect snoozing weather.
Love, Blessings and Gratitude,
Chris
